First day of class we learned the movements of our camera.
Large format cameras have the unique ability to altar the perspective of a scene without having to move the tripod, camera, or the thing being photographed. This is Thanks to the Cameras "bellows"
Looks like an accordion
Each movement causes distortion. This is because light traveling from your lense to the glass has a more complicated path to fallow. Movements will also altar the focus of your image.
Here are my experiments with my still life
A shift to the right with perhaps a tilt in the front
Goal: Continue experimenting with themes of being overwhelmed, but also incorporating environment
Used:portable strobles, film camera, digital SLR, myself
Special thanks: Button pusher, Mr. Simmons
